文部科学省CDMSI (ポスト「京」重点課題 (7))から委託を受け、横浜国立大学では計算材料科学技術推進体制の構築を推進します。

To promote CDMSI (Creation of new functional Devices and high-performance Materials to Support next-generation Industries) program,
Yokohama National University has been seeking for a highly qualified researcher from the world over.
We announce an opening position for a postdoctoral position and encourage to apply.

 

1.研究内容・業務内容 / Research and Job specifications

文部科学省CDMSI (ポスト「京」重点課題 (7))を遂行するために、(1)計算材料科学的手法に基づくアプリケーションの開発と普及促進、
(2)計算材料科学分野における重点課題の推進を行う。特に、第一原理フェーズフィールド法の構築による並列コードの開発とそれを用いた解析の実行を担当する。

(1)Development of original application programs for computational materials science: target area includes various fields of computational materials physics
and computational materials engineering for functional materials and structural materials.
(2)In particular, implementation and application of first-principles phase-field simulations of alloys for parallel supercomputers as a priority research subject.

 

2.公募人員 / Opening

産学官連携研究員　１名

Post-doctoral Researcher; 1 person

 

3.応募資格 / Qualification

博士課程修了、またはこれと同等以上の能力を持つ方。
Ph.D or equivalent in the area of Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering with the background of computational science.

 

4.雇用期間 / Term of the employment

平成31年1月1日以降の可能な限り早い時期～平成32年3月31日

Jan. 1, 2019* – March 31, 2020.
*Starting date is negotiable.

 

5.勤務地 / Location

横浜国立大学

His/her office is located at Yokohama National University.

 

6.選考方法 / Selection/Nomination

書類選考の結果に基づき、面接を行う（日時は追って連絡）。

Selection is based on documents listed below and interview*
Interview is via either Videoconferencing system or PC online Skype system.

8.勤務対応・手当・給与等 / Allowances and Benefits

週5日：１週間当たり38時間45分相当、社会保険等加入。通勤手当有。

In addition to salary, commuting benefit is paid and social insurance is secured.
5 working days (equivalent to 38hours 45mins)
